Research Interest Statement
Stereology: Particularly interested in applying methods from stereology to the problem of measuring things in volume data. Written a program, Measure, for analyzing volume data using stereological techniques that is used by several groups at Hopkins and elsewhere.
Schizophrenia: Primary psychiatric interest is in the neuroanatomy of schizophrenia, particularly cortical manifestations.
MRI Data Processing: Interested in techniques to decrease RF field inhomogeneity, segmentation and warping.
Functional MRI: Top priority at present is writing a set of routines for processing functional MRI data.
Current Projects
Dynamic Programming Generation of Coordinized Submanifolds of the Neocortex
Measuring Cortical Surface Area and Thickness
Stereology in Medical Imaging
