Charon joins ICM Core Faculty

photo_CV2The Institute for Computational Medicine is pleased to announce a new appointment to our core faculty: Nicolas Charon, who joined the Johns Hopkins University Center for Imaging Sciences as an Assistant Professor of Applied Mathematics and Statistics in spring of 2015. Dr. Charon’s research interests focus on shape analysis, as well as the understanding and modeling of geometrical patterns and their application to computational anatomy and biomedical imaging. Nicolas holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics, Vision and Learning and a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from ENS Cachan. He comes to us most recently from the University of Copenhagen.
