12/16/2016

Suchi Saria, assistant professor of computer science and ICM core faculty member, has been recognized as a “rising research star” by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency’s Young Faculty Awards (DARPA) for her project titled, “Continuous Learning of (Causal) Models from Streams.”

In addition to funding, this award provides mentoring and networking, helping connect recipients to industry and Department of Defense contacts. Its goal is to develop the next generation of engineers, mathematicians, and academic scientists who will focus a significant portion of their careers on national security issues.

Congratulations, Dr. Saria!
