Suchi Saria—assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science and a member of the Malone Center for Engineering in Healthcare, the Institute for Computational Medicine, the Laboratory for Computational Sensing and Robotics, and the Center for Language and Speech Processing—was one of 21 women working in the area of artificial intelligence profiled by Forbes.com. The website recognized Saria’s work in using computational modeling to extract insights from the vast amounts of data collected digitally in healthcare settings to improve patient care.
