Dante’s proposal entitled, “Simulation Guidance of Ablation Therapy for Persistent Atrial Fibrillation,” and Julia’s proposal entitled, “Restoring Tactile Feedback in Human-Prosthetic Systems Using Optimal Feedback Control Theory,” were chosen by a faculty selection committee from a highly-competitive group of submissions.

PURA was established in 1993 by The Hodson Trust to encourage undergraduates to engage in independent research, scholarly, and creative activities. PURA recipients will present their projects at DREAMS, a JHU campus wide event held annually in the spring, to celebrate and showcase the creative and scholarly efforts of the year’s awardees.

Congratulations, and best of luck on your research projects!
