Natalia Trayanova elected as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology
Natalia Trayanova has been elected as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, a distinction that recognizes cardiology’s top experts and the professional achievements of scholars who have made exceptional contributions to the field. The American College of Cardiology is the largest medical society in the field, with 49,000 members. Natalia is the Murray B. Sachs Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, co-director of ADVANCE, and a member of the Institute for Computational Medicine. She also leads the Computational Cardiology Laboratory. Natalia has pioneered the clinical use of personalized 3D heart models, which, in combination with artificial intelligence approaches, enhance our ability to predict adverse cardiac events, reduce treatment complications, and improve patient outcomes. She will receive this award during the convocation ceremony to be held during the ACC’s 72nd Annual Scientific Sessions in March 2023 in New Orleans.
