Dr. Rajat Mittal named a Fellow of the American Physical Society

Dr. Rajat Mittal of the Institute for Computational Medicine has been named a Fellow of the American Physical Society, “For fundamental contributions to the development of immersed boundary methods in computational fluid dynamics and for the understanding of the structure of bluff body wakes, fluid dynamics of locomotion, active flow control, and biomimetics and bioinspired engineering”. Election to APS Fellowship is recognition by peers of Rajat’s outstanding contributions to physics and is an honor limited to no more than one half of one percent of the APS membership.
