Claire Zhao, a second-year BME PhD student in Dr. Raimond Winslow’s lab, has been awarded a Post-Graduate Scholarship-Doctoral (PGSD) from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC). This award will support her project “Mathematical and Computational Modeling of Calcium Entrained Arrhythmia”, which aims to gain new insights into the causes of cardiac arrhythmias and sudden death. The scholarship will support her for 3 years of research training.
